He is survived by: his wife Shirley Couper of Newton; his daughter Tammy Van Baale (Jerry) of Grinnell; his stepchildren, Alaric Catlett (Michell) of Newton, Daryl Catlett (Amy) of Newton and Angeleque Scull of Newton; his sisters, Nancy Couper of Newton and Mary "Beth" Couper of Florida; and his daughter Julie McConnell (Randy) of Newton. He is also survived by his many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
