He was predeceased by: his parents, Ben Illingworth and Eileen Illingworth (Vinson); his wife Nancy Plummer; and his brother John. He is survived by: his children, Don Wing, Jr. (Deedra) of Austin, TX, Dena Rinderknecht (Eric) of Polk City, Brooker Illingworth (Allex) of Chariton and James Illingworth (Robyn) of Newton; his grandchildren, Paige Rinderknecht, Bryce Rinderknecht, Benton Meyer, Isabella Hartz, Ryder Hartz, Jameson Illingworth and Teddie Ben Illingworth; and his sister Benna Langford.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Wallace Family Funeral Home and Crematory (1115 E 19th St N, Newton, IA 50208-2539).
