She was predeceased by: her parents, Florence Gearhart (Miller) and Leslie Gearhart; her husband Kenneth Fifer; her siblings, Marvin, Harry Gearhart, Byrnadeen Failor and Linda Gearhart; and her brothers-in-law, Roland Failor, Newell Wolf and Don Emery.
She is survived by: her children, Doug Fifer (Kathy) of Newton, Randy Fifer (Deb) of Newton and Sheila Margritz (Dennis) of Shell Knob, Missouri; her grandchildren, Matthew Fifer (Jessica) of Bentonville, Becky Iske (Mike) of Newton, Cam Fifer (Sara) of Newton, Ashlee Fifer of Des Moines, Lucas Hubbard of Kansas City and Amanda Weishaar (Lucas) of Newton; her great grandchildren, Sheridan, Joshua, Caleb, Katie Joy, Mackenna, Laken, Logen, Parker, Maddie, Emma, Drake, Delaney, Zach, Austin and Connor; her sisters, Jane Wolf of Newton and Roberta Emery of Missouri; and her sisters-in-law, Dena Gearhart of Newton and Marsha Gearhart of Newton. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
