It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sherrie Sue Dawson of Newton, Iowa, who passed away on October 12, 2024, at the age of 59, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid adieu to Sherrie's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in her wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Sherrie has bequeathed us. For though she may have departed from our sight, her spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Dean Dawson and Laura Dawson (Dykstra); her sister Debbie Dawson; her grandparents, Laurel, Eloise Dykstra, Harold and Louise Dawson; her children, Michael Talbot (Aaron Parcel) and Stephanie Hodge; her granddaughter Kennady Hodge; and her brothers, Brian Dawson and Scott Dawson.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 21st 2024 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Wallace Family Funeral Home and Crematory (1115 E 19th St N, Newton, IA 50208-2539).
