It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruth Stewart of Newton, Iowa, who passed away on April 3, 2021, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Claude McMahon and Catherine McMahon (Fleiter); her husband Dennis Stewart; her siblings, James McMahon and Carol Wilson; and her daughters-in-law, Patty Stewart and Candy Stewart.
She is survived by: her children, Margaret Mortenson (Richard) of Grinnell, Mark Stewart of Guthrie Center, Chris Stewart (Carol) of Knoxville, Tim Stewart of Newton and Kathy Stewart (Pat O'Hara) of Kellogg; and her siblings-in-law, Maxine McMahon of Newton and Donnell Deane Wilson of Newton. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren.
