She was predeceased by: her parents, Torrence Wisecup and Marie Wisecup (Grady); her husband Charles DeBruyn; her daughter Donna DeBruyn; and her siblings, Carroll Wisecup and Sandy Oviatt.
She is survived by: her children, Dave DeBruyn (Rosela) of Newton, Deb DeBruyn of Walsenburg and Scott DeBruyn of Des Moines; her grandchildren, Kara DeBruyn, Amanda Sanchez (Sean), Marc DeBruyn, Devin White and Kristina DeBruyn; her great grandchildren, Peyton and Rowan Sanchez; and her brother Larry Wisecup (Diane) of Truro. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Wallace Family Funeral Home and Crematory (1115 E 19th St N, Newton, IA 50208-2539).
Memorials to the EveryStep Kavanaugh House may be left at the funeral home.
