It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ronald J McDermott in Newton, Iowa, who passed away on January 15, 2024, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Joseph and Virginia Frances McDermott (Yancey); and his brother John. He is survived by: his wife Candace Rose Andersen; and his siblings, Larry and Marvene. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews; and his many extended family and friends.
