He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Swanson and Helen Swanson (Sawtell); his wife Beverly Lindberg; and his siblings, Gladys Smith, Richard T. Swanson, Dorothy Swanson and Harold Swanson.
He is survived by: his children, Rachel Faidley (Terry) of Colfax and Philip L. (Kimberly Edwards-Swanson) of Flemington; and his grandchildren, Meredith Miller (Lonnie), Megan McKay, Adam Swanson, Sarah Swanson (Jackson Rehmet) and Abigail Swanson. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
