He was predeceased by: his parents, Merle Hamersley and Betty Hamersley (Pilcher); and his brother Steve Hamersley. He is survived by: his wife Mari Hamersley of Newton; his daughter Kira Shepherd of Newton; his granddaughter Delaney Shepherd of Newton; his mother-in-law Ramona Osborn of Newton; his close friend Ed Harl; and also, Vincent, Matt Harl, A. J. Failor and Roger.
