He is survived by: his wife Betty Filson of Newton; his children, Mancie Eicher of Des Moines and Misha Filson of Newton; his grandchildren, Kayla Eicher of Newton, Jarrett Eicher of Newton, Eric Eicher of Lubbock and Seth Edwards of Haughton, Louisiana; his great grandchildren, Karsin, Kali, Knoxleigh, Maddie, Cora and Alice; and his siblings, Carol Ververka (Terry) of Newton, Darlene Machin (Dick) of Newton, Robert Filson (Pam) of Illinois and Jim Filson of Newton. He is also survived by his many nieces and nephews.
