It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rita A Kanne of Newton, Iowa, who passed away on January 25, 2025, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Gene Hannagan and Ruth Hannagan (Townsend); her husband Adelbert Kanne; and her sister Linda Smith. She is survived by: her children, Albert Esqueda (Sheree) of Kellogg, Andrew Esqueda, Sr. (Becky) of Baxter and Arleigh Esqueda of Newton; her grandchildren, Haley Lincoln (Anthony), Andrew Esqueda, Jr., James Esqueda and Nate Esqueda; her great grandchildren, Ryder Esqueda and Annaka Lincoln; and her siblings, Diane Krier (Larry) of Marion and Ed Hannagan (Cindy) of Emmetsburg.
Memorials to Suncrest Hospice or the Newton Health Care Activities Fund may be left at the funeral home.
