He was predeceased by: his parents, Calvin Logue and Ruth Logue (Keith); his wife Glenda Tipton; and his siblings, Kenny Logue, Benny Logue, Doug Logue and Lola Lamb.
He is survived by: his children, Deborah Gulling (Tony) of Newton and Richard Crook (Amy) of Newton; his grandchildren, Josh Berger (Kylie Hodge), Jacob Berger (Jenni), Jaise Gulling (Sabrina Reed), James Gulling (Emmalie Russell), Mackenzie Crook and Riley Crook; his great grandchildren, Layla, Jackson and Jordan; and his siblings, Susie Wallace (Jerry) of Colo, Ed Logue (Marla) of Newton, Della Payton (Patrick) of Newton and Terry Logue (Becky) of Newton. He is also survived by his many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 13th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Wallace Family Funeral Home and Crematory (1115 E 19th St N, Newton, IA 50208-2539). A funeral service was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorials to the Jasper County Courthouse Christmas Light Fund or in Richard's name (checks made payable to Debbie Gulling) may be left at the funeral home.
