He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard Allen and Virginia Allen (Brooks). He is survived by: his children, Tammy Smith of Newton and Tim Allen (Judy) of Riverside; his grandchildren, Nathan Smith (Sarah), Nick Smith, Chelsea Johnson and Alisa Allen; his great grandchild Colton Johnson; and his sister Judy Allen of North Liberty.
