He was predeceased by: his parents, Don E. Warden and Virginia E. Warden (Williams); his brothers, Tom Warden and Don Warden, Jr.; and his grandson Daryn.
He is survived by: his wife Sandy Warden of Newton; his children, Tim Warden (Mary) of Blairstown, Rick Warden (Deb), Carla Foley (Pat) of Des Moines, Mike Warden (Sheila) of Grinnell and David Warden (Shelley) of West Branch; and his sister-in-law Marlene Warden of Arlington Heights, Illinois. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews; and other extended family.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to the American Cancer Society of Iowa, Immanuel Baptist Church, or MercyOne Hospice maybe left at the funeral home.
