Jones of Newton, Iowa, born in Grinnell, Iowa, who passed away on December 6, 2023, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Junior and Margaret "Betty" Jones (Hanagan); his stepmother Edith Jones; his wife Sue Jones; and his stepson Alexander Almer.
He is survived by: his children, Aaron Jones (Nicole) of Marshalltown and Carissa Wadding (Nicholas) of Warrenton, Virginia; his stepsons, Nathan Almer (Amber) and Jonathan Almer; his grandchildren, Caleb, Ty Jones, Carter and Evan Wadding; his siblings, Tallie Furrow, Diana Zrudsky (Tom), Evelyn Beck (Les), Larry Jones, Cindy Bates (Dennis) and Debbie Pefferman (Tim); and his close friend Doug McClun (Sue). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
