It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Nyla Hodges of Newton, Iowa, born in Boone, Iowa, who passed away on June 21, 2021, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer Munson and Delia Munson (Brown); her husband Joe Hodges; her siblings, Dean Munson and Dorothy Henderson; and her brothers-in-law, Larry Hodges, Orval Hagen and Ted Henderson.
She is survived by: her children, Dixie Hodges (Tim Malone) of Newton and Danny Hodges (Connie) of Blairsburg; her grandchildren, Amy Orr (Cory) of New Hampton, Christy Friedman (Todd) of Castle Rock, Paul Durbala (Leigha) of Denver, Cassandra Moser (Jordan) of Indianola and Lacey Randall (Jonathan) of Omaha, Nebraska; her great grandchildren, Treyce, Carter, Cade, Jack, Bristol, Michael, Jarrett, Cole, Octavia, Scarlet, Alise, Evelyn, Nyla, Sady and Mabel; her brother Paul Munson (Glenna) of Des Moines; and her siblings-in-law, Lucinda Hagen of Tucson, Karol Hodges of Sheridan, Wyoming and Doug Hodges (Evelyn) of Newton.
