It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Michael Shawn Anderson (Newton, Iowa), who passed away on December 1, 2021, at the age of 58, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He is survived by: his parents, Carole Edna Anderson (McAnally) and Eugene Anderson; his brother Chris Anderson (Vera); his children, Lindsey Pline (Josh) and Matthew Anderson; his sister Heidi Anderson (Randall Biehl); his nieces and nephews, Tanner Lamb, Trevor Lamb, Gabriel Lamb, Molly Lamb and Nathanael Lamb; his sister Heather Battaglia (Frank); his nieces and nephews, Tonino Battaglia and Mila Battaglia; his sister Mary Nakamura (Reid); his nephews, Austin Nakamura, Alex Nakamura and Anderson Nakamura; his partner's sons, Zachary Gill, Dylan and William Yancey; and his close friend Carlos.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested memorial contributions to the Michael Anderson "Gift of Music" Memorial Scholarship Fund.
