She was predeceased by: her parents, Reuben Pralle and Wilhelmine Pralle (Albers); and her husband Richard Paul Koenen. She is survived by: her children, Dr. Jack Koenen (Dawn) of Forest City, Dr. Jeane Koenen of Atchison, Kansas, Jane Allen (Dan) of Newton, Dr. James Koenen (Pam) of Hampton, Dr. Jeffrey Koenen (Sarah) of Johnston and Dr. Jay Koenen (Kelly) of Newton; her grandchildren, Alexis Koenen, Samantha Roe (Dustin), Anna Koenen (Rusty Mayfield), Shara Koenen, Travis Allen (Hollie), Tara Ingraldi (Joe), Evan Koenen, Emily Koenen (Zach Moss), Jackson, Emerson Koenen, Skye and Shae Koenen; her stepgrandsons, Adam Posegate (Lisa), Tyler Posegate (Hillary) and Michael Posegate (Jennifer); and her sisters, Betty Meyer (Ted) and Janette Marcus Hughes. She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren and one on the way; nine step great-grandchildren.
