It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Mary Ann Dannen (Newton, Iowa), born in Des Moines, Iowa, who passed away on September 19, 2019, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Milton and Dorothy Frances Smith; her husband Glenn Dannen; and her sister Laura Lee Brady. She is survived by: her children, Andy Dannen (Terry) of Newton, Susan Hoffert (Mark) of Newton and Judy Balbiani (Eric) of Ames; her grandchildren, Amy Wadstrom (Steve), Ryan Dannen (Shannon), Sabrina Smead (Scott), Samantha Jutting (Calvin), Tyler Balbiani (Katlyn), Brandon Balbiani (Carolyn) and Jordon Balbiani; her great grandchildren, Taryn, Bennett, Josie Wadstrom, Karter, Gavin, Max, Luke Smead, Landon Klosterboer, Liberty Jutting, Emmett, Collins Balbiani, Drake, Nash and Hayes Balbiani; and her siblings, Beverly Patterson of Rising Sun, Fran Miller (Bob) of Pleasantville and Michael Meacham of Lincoln, Nebraska. She is also survived by her many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials in Mary Ann's name, the memorials will be used for several projects that she wanted (please make checks payable to Judy Balbiani).
