It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marlene Van Wyk of Newton, Iowa, who passed away on October 11, 2023, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Abram L. Dykstra and Gertrude C. Dykstra (Bogaards); her parents-in-law, Henry G. and Clara Van Wyk; and her siblings-in-law, Mildred Bogaards and Newton K. Coop.
She is survived by: her children, Denise Kay and Loran Eugene; her husband Gilbert; her family, Denise, David Roose of Pella, Loran, Pat Van Wyk of Newton, Andrea Van Wyk and Erica (Joe); her sister Evelyn Van Dyke (Robert); and her siblings-in-law, Orville Van Wyk (Vi), Gary Van Wyk (Deen) and Margaret Ann Coop. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
