It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marian Ruth Ponder of Newton, Iowa, born in Waterloo, Iowa, who passed away on November 9, 2022, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She is survived by: her children, Dwight (LeAnn), David and Dean (Myla); and her grandchildren, Sara, Jason, Stacia and Caitlan. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
