She was predeceased by: her husband Thomas Durbala; her granddaughter Annalisa Bornhausen; her parents, Vincent and Helen; and her sister Patty McDermott.
She is survived by: her children, Denise Bornhausen (Bill) of Minneapolis, MN, Matt (Peggy) of Poplar Grove, IL and Greg (Tracie) of Houston, TX; her grandchildren, Katarina Bornhausen, Dominic, Benjamin, Abigail Durbala, Aaron, Emily Durbala (Dani) and Natasha Spiezia (Anthony); her great grandchildren, Emily Spiezia, Liam and Daniel Murrow; her sister Barb Gaylor (Bruce) of Hastings, MN; and her sister-in-law Suzane Durbala of St. Augustine, FL..
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 26th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church (1115 S 8th Ave E, Newton, IA 50208). A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, October 26th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
