With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Marcelene Schaper of Newton, Iowa, born in Adel, Iowa, who passed away on October 22, 2022 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Howell and Madeline Howell (Pancoast); her husband Louis Schaper; and her daughter Linda. She is survived by: her children, Richard Schaper (Ashley) of Lucerne, Diane Baugh of Urbandale and Brenda Schaper of Newton; her grandchildren, Starr Schaper, Sherri Pieffer (Matt), Shawn Schaper (Charity), Kevin Schaper, Angela Baugh and Karri Baugh; and her siblings, Gary Howell and Darlene Markwitz. She is also survived by her five great-grandchildren.
