He was predeceased by: his parents, Willard H. Funk and Iona Double Funk; and his siblings, Leroy Funk and Norma Jean Funk. He is survived by: his wife Janice Vancise; his children, Teresa Nash (Fred) of Pierce City, MO., Jeff Funk of Newton, Curt Funk of Victor and Angie Funk Jones of Newton; his grandchildren, Justin Nash, Mendy of Monett, MO., Aaron Funk of Newton, Jeffery Funk of Newton, Kirstyn Jones of Newton and Brandon Jones of Colfax; his great grandchildren, Marley, Rueben Nash of Monnet, MO., Benson Funk of Newton and Jaxton Funk of Newton; and his daughters, Euni Carkhuff of Holland, MI., Betsy Hingst of Keokuk, IA. and Becca Carkhuff of Burlington, IA..
