He was predeceased by: his parents, William Percy and Vera Massey Slonaker; his son Fredrick Slonaker; and his brother Frederick Slonaker. He is survived by: his wife Connie Slonaker; his daughters, Angela Adam (Larry) of Pella, IA and Christine Gebhart (Chad) of Newton, IA; his grandchildren, Kalyn Faith, Alisha Nichole, Cale Chase, Kipton Chance, Cutler Case, Crew William and Tinley Rose; and his siblings, Terry Slonaker (Loretta), Janet Hampton (Denny) and Linda Bradley.
A time to share stories with the family and celebrate Larry's life will be immediately following the service at the funeral home and last until 5 p.m. Memorial contributions in Larry's honor may be directed to Newton Village and be mailed to 110 N. 5th Ave. West, Newton, IA 50208.
