He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence "Buck" Trease and Claudena Trease (McDaniel); and his brothers, Ron and Don Trease. He is survived by: his brother Bones; his nephews, Rick and Gregg Trease; his wife Clara Lou Barnett of Newton; his brother Jerry Trease (Patty K.) of Newton; his children, Tony Trease (Lynn) of Birmingham and Terri Dahlem (Mike) of Dripping Springs, Texas; his stepson Ron Barnett (Lisa) of Ames; and his grandchildren, Emily Sieber (Scott), Carly Dahlem (Reid McDermott), Michael Trease, Ellen Trease and Lauren Barnett of Fort Dodge.
