He is survived by: his wife Betty Hesse of Newton; his daughters, Amanda Reavis-Alter (Ramey) of Grinnell, Lorrie Reavis (Brendt Roney) of Newton and Misty Reavis (Terry Kephart) of Grinnell; his son-in-law James Burtlow of Newton; his grandchildren, Bronson Alter, Shevi Alter, Ryley Roney, Layla Reavis, Shayla Winchell, Bentley Burtlow and Lara Burtlow; his siblings, Wilbur Reavis of Iowa City, Rita Beal (Dick) of Columbia, Terry Mudra (Linda) of Newton, John Mudra of Reansor and Robby Mudra (Nedra) of Centerville; and his brother-in-law David Hesse (Linda) of Seymour. He is also survived by his many nieces and nephews.
