He was predeceased by: his parents, Marion Hegwood and Katherine Hegwood (McConkey). He is survived by: his wife Kathy Hegwood of Newton; his children, Travis Hegwood (Nicole) of Newton and Tiffany Sage (Brady) of Newton; his grandchildren, Hayley, Riley, Micheal, Leighton, Scarlett and Blakelee; his great grandchildren, Carson, Everleigh, Hazel and Izlla; and his siblings, Kim Moodie (Gary) of Storm Lake, Tina Patterson of Pittsburgh, PA, Brenda Macy of Arlington, TX and Jed Hegwood (Amy) of Columbus, OH. He is also survived by his many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
