He was predeceased by: his parents, William Oliver and Garnet Mildred Daugherty (Gibbons); his wife Marian Reynoldson; his sons, Brian and Kevin Daugherty; his siblings, William (Dorothy), Merrill, Merlin and Mary Swenson (Don); his brother-in-law Marv Sowder; his nephew Dr. Steven Swenson; and his nieces, Sandy Brandow (Swenson) and Kelley Sowder.
He is survived by: his daughter Lynn Schuldt (Steve) of Deep River; his grandchildren, Cara, Brendan, Ken, Teri, Jeff, Kelly and Kate; and his sister Leora Sowder of Madrid. He is also survived by 14 great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
