It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kathy Birky (Newton, Iowa), born in Des Moines, Iowa, who passed away on December 25, 2018, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Warner and Viola; and her brothers, Michael Warner and John Weatherly. She is survived by: her husband Greg of Newton; her children, Desiree Smith (Bob) of Des Moines, Jeremy Cobb (Paula) of Maryville, Aaron Croy (Rachel) of Des Moines and Michael Croy of Newton; her stepchildren, Carolyn Birky of Cedar Rapids and Allan Birky of Cedar Rapids; and her sister Patty Hascom (Mike) of Creston.
