With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Karen Lee Greene of Newton, Iowa, who passed away on March 18, 2025 at the age of 68. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Karen had on those she encountered along her journey. Though Karen may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, her essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard Cleveland and Edna Cleveland. She is survived by: her daughters, Casey Illingworth (Ryan) and Kelsey Greene; her grandchildren, Adley, Blake Illingworth and Myles Knudsen; her brother Richard Cleveland (Cindy) of Utah; and her pet Cole. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her honor to The Least of Saints Church or Newton Christian School.
