He is survived by: his wife Velma Ekins of Newton; his daughters, Julie Crook (Dan) of Newton and Peggy Pohto (Brad); his grandchildren, Cassie Crummett (Brian) of Pella, Jennifer Peterson (Ben) of New York City, Amanda Regehr (Sam) of Kiowa, Kali Mantey (Aaron) of St and Brittney Pohto; and his great grandchildren, Alexis Baker, Brianna Crummett and Jackson Regehr.
