It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Judith Spain of Newton, Iowa, born in Des Moines, Iowa, who passed away on June 15, 2021, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Lankford and Minnie Lankford (Uitermarkt); and her brother Roger Lankford. She is survived by: her husband Jim Spain of Newton; her sons, Jeffrey Spain (Pamela) of McHenry and Jon Spain (Victoria) of Marion; her grandsons, Ian Spain and Duncan Spain of Marion; and her half-sister Sandra Welborn of Des Moines.
