She was predeceased by: her parents, Arnold Franklin Burnett and Vera Mildred Burnett (Pence); her husband Glen Oswalt; her daughter Sharla Oswalt; her grandson Ryan Peters; her stepmother Harriet Burnett; and her brother Ronald Burnett.
She is survived by: her daughter Glenna; her son-in-law Gene Patterson of Newton; her grandchildren, Brock Patterson (Sara), Amber Allen (Randall), DaNae Peters (Michael), Mia Senclair (Trevor) and Brice Peters (Kristen); her great grandchildren, Kennedy Patterson, Logan Paylor (Ashley), Emilee Paylor, Zeke Peters, Kai Peters, Maddox Peters, Elise Bennett (Vincent), Addy Senclair and Calvin Peters; and her great great grandchildren, Casper Gillum-Paylor, Bailey Gillum-Paylor and Waylon Bennett. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, April 5th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Reese Funeral Home & Cremation Services (310 N 2nd Ave E, Newton, IA 50208). A memorial service was held on Saturday, April 5th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
