We are sad to announce that on February 22, 2020, at the age of 87, Joseph Franklin Barr (Newton, Iowa), born in Iowa City, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Leland and Ethel Ladora Barr (Milligan); his wife Shirley Ann Streeter; his son Jeffrey; and his siblings, Laurene, Ida, Bertha, John, Owen, Chester and Floyd.
He is survived by: his children, Joleen Hansen (Brad), Michelle Winther (Chad Garvis), Rhonda Rawlins, Randall Rawlins, Tim Barr (Ruby) and Tom Barr (Becky); his grandchildren, Shawna (Jesse), Colton (Amber), Clayton, Kenna (Connor), Camden (Olivia), Isabella and Matt; his great grandchild Liam; and his brother-in-law Ron Streeter (Merry). He is also survived by his wife, children and grandkids.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be designated to Frank's family or to a charity of your choosing.
