He was predeceased by: his parents, Mark Woody and Thelma Woody (Caulkins); his son Steven Woody; and his siblings, Dean Woody and Beverly Sheeler.
He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Woody of Newton; his children, Joni Woody of Newton, Lisa Blommers (Duane) of Newton and Don Woody (Angie) of Lenexa, Kansas; his grandchildren, Amie Johnson (Eric), Amber McGruder (Troy), Cory Blommers, Stephen Woody (Hannah) and Jered Woody (Brie); his great grandchildren, Kyndra Johnson, Cassie Johnson, Isaac Johnson, Emma McGruder, Lucas McGruder, Camdyn Blommers and Alma Woody; his sister-in-law Virginia Woody of Monroe; and also Ashton Hicks.
