With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John William Allen in Newton, Iowa, who passed away on December 15, 2022 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his wife Margaret. He is survived by: his sons, Chris Allen (Marcia) of North Liberty, Mark Allen (Emily) of Newton and Andy Allen (Mary) of Cedar Rapids; his grandchildren, Sean Allen (Claire) of Omaha, Noah, Estella, Henry, Max, Charlie Allen of Newton, Ezra and Jonah Allen of Cedar Rapids; and his brother Jim Allen (Mary Kay) of Kansas City.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Regina Foundation to establish The John and Margaret Allen Scholarship.
