He was predeceased by: his parents, John "Jack" Edward and Thelma Petted (McConeghey); his sister Sandra; and his brother-in-law Dr. Kenneth Caldwell. He is survived by: his wife Denise E. Cunningham; his sons, Ed Petted (Carlyn) and James Petted (Melissa Bishop); his grandchild Jialana Burrows (Tony); his great grandchildren, Wyatt and Jerin Kaldenberg (Kristen); and also, Maverick, Stephanie Petted and Drake.
