He was predeceased by: his father Murry "Dale" Dougan; his brother Curtiss Dougan; and his cousin Jesse Patton. He is survived by: his mother Dianna Dougan (Dickerson) of Baxter; his wife Linda Dougan of Newton; his son Liam Dougan of Newton; his stepchildren, Lindsey Howe of Baxter and Grant Howe of Ankeny; his stepgrandson Eli Colungo; his sister Lisa Holtsclaw (Brent) of Baxter; his sister-in-law Christy Dougan (Caldwell) of Hurst, Texas; his niece Annie Gibson (Dougan) of Hurst, Texas; and his close friend Paul Wood of Vichy, Missouri..
