With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joan P. Mattingly of Newton, Iowa, born in Ironton, Missouri, who passed away on May 5, 2022 at the age of 90. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Joan P. Mattingly to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James Pollock and Pearl Pollock (Helms); and her husband Bill. She is survived by: her children, Barbara R. Mattingly, George E. Mattingly (Lucy), Paul A. Mattingly (Kelley), David J. Mattingly (Cathy), John F. Mattingly (Elaine) and Joseph B. Mattingly (Norma Linda); and her siblings, Nellie (Glen), Bonnie (Jim) and James (Connie). She is also survived by her nieces and nephews; and many good neighbors and friends.
In lieu of flowers, those wishing to honor Joan's life are asked to leave a donation at Sacred Heart Catholic Church or at Pence-Reese Funeral Home; memorials will support the Sacred Heart Building Fund and the St. Labre Indian School in Ashland, Montana.
