She was predeceased by: her parents, Jonathan Lister (Doc) and Lois Anderson Lister; and her siblings, Robert Lister and Margaret Atwood. She is survived by: her husband David Roger Gooch of Newton; her children, Khris Gooch (Suzy) of Newton, Kimberly Gooch (Erick Apland) of Farmington and Kathleen Zehr (Bradley McCall); and her brothers, Jonathan "Bud" Lister (Bette) of Ankeny and David Lister (Gwen) of Fitchberg.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations go to the Memorial Fund for Jody Gooch at First United Methodist Church.
