It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joan Katherine Ihm (Newton, Iowa), who passed away on April 8, 2020, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Albert and Berneda Mae Rietz (Whitten); and her husband Marc Ihm. She is survived by: her daughters, Marcia Kelley (Joe) of Norwalk and Carolyn DiMambro (Bernard) of Reading, Massachusetts. She is also survived by her four grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren; and her good neighbors and friends.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be designated to Katherine's family, or to a charity of your choosing.
