He was predeceased by: his parents, Oren Weiba and Alice Belle Postma (Buwalda); his wife Kaye; his son Sean; and his siblings, Donna Rose of Marcella Flake, Lois Holder, John Postma and Edward Postma.
He is survived by: his daughters, Kirsten Gull (Douglas) of Nevada, IA and Gretchen Hall (Les) of Grinnell, IA; his grandchildren, Tara Brown, Vanessa Brown, Trevor Brown, Allison Van Weelden (Derek) and Miranda Hall; his great grandchildren, Sheldyn Van Weelden, Mila Bergan, Barrett Van Weelden and Baby Ranson; and his siblings, Rosie Berry, Lucille Sheesley and William Postma.
