She was predeceased by: her father Jerry Scanlan. She is survived by: her mother JoAnn Bonser Scanlan; her children, Jessica and Andrew Scanlan (Cristol Stephenson) of Newton, IA; her grandchildren, Johnathan, Charlie, George, Evangeline and Maxwell; and her siblings, James Scanlan of Colfax, IA, Jodi Noble of Basco, IL and Jeanne Denning (Wesley) of Kahoka. She is also survived by three nieces and three nephews.
