He is survived by: his wife Vicki Golik of Newton; his stepson Daniel Banghart of Newton; his grandchildren, Raeanna Banghart and Shelby Banghart; his great grandchildren, Ava Garcia and Daniel James Garcia; his brothers, Richard Golik (Nancy) of Indianola and Don Golik (Betty) of Springfield, Missouri; and his sister-in-law Sally Vasquez (Dan) of Newton. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
