He was predeceased by: his parents, William Powell and Allis Powell (Conger). He is survived by: his wife Linda Kay; his daughters, Lori Ann Eisbrener (Jeff) and Debora J. Rozenberg; his grandchildren, Dillon Constant, Ryan Constant, Matt Eisbrener (Jenni), Mike Eisbrener (Pam) and Katie Evans (Rob); his great grandchild Nora Evans; his brother Richard Powell; his sister-in-law Gwen; and his nephews, Doug and David Powell.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be designated to St. Luke's United Methodist Church or Jasper County Animal Rescue League.
