He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Sheeler and Lillian Sheeler (Van Baale); his wife Mary Lou; his son William Howard; his sisters, Mary, Kathleen, Martha, JoAnn and Gladys; his siblings-in-law, Floyd and Faye Kent; and his nephew Jim Kent.
He is survived by: his daughters, Connie Smith, Debbie Calvert (Ron) and Cheryl Rhead (Greg); his grandchildren, Landi Smith, Nathan Smith, Megan Sanders (Brent), Lacey Calvert (Matt), Laura Calvert, Kaity Gale (James), Scott Rhead (Sheena) and Alex Rhead (Jill); his great grandchildren, Cartyr, Taylor, Keegan, Noora, Joey, Sawyer, Braylen, Axel, Ada, Dalia, Adley, Walker, Charlotte and Brock; his brother Robert Sheeler (Nona Kain); and also, Cassie and Edward.
Memorials may be directed to the Monroe Ambulance Unit or the Monroe Presbyterian Church.
