She was predeceased by: her parents, Gail Arden and Louise Maxine Scott (Quarter); her son Gail Eugene Demichelis; and her siblings, Jim Scott and Marsha Van Gundy.
She is survived by: her husband Darl Demichelis of Newton; her daughter Melissa Demichelis (Tony Miller) of Des Moines; and her granddaughter Sofia R. Lopez.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to an Animal Rescue League or a Women's Service Group of the Donor's Choice may be left at the funeral home.
