He is survived by: his wife Judy K. Howe; his children, Becky Carkhuff (Rich Chance) of Newton, Rhonda Leavens of Newton, Roxanne Davis (Kim) of Newton and Greg Leavens (Sheri) of Colfax; his grandchildren, Chuck Carkhuff (Brenda), Scott Carkhuff, Adam Leavens (Danita), Austin Leavens, Avery Leavens (Jessica), Alex Hayes, Kendal Davis (Ashley), Crystal Davis, Joey Davis, Jessica Leavens, Jamie Leavens, Colby Lawson, Caleb Lawson and Christian Lawson; and his siblings, Don Leavens (Lynn) of Camanche and Lois Hildenbrand of Newton. He is also survived by many great-grandchildren.
