She was predeceased by: her parents, Eleanor Mae Kempfer (Lewis) and Marion Kempfer; and her siblings, Beverly, Bonnie, Gail, Susan and David.
She is survived by: her husband William "Bill" Postma of Newton; her children, William Brant Postma of Lawrence, Stephen Postma (Irene) of Ellsworth and JoAnn McGee; her grandchildren, Abby, Wyatt McGee, Tyler and John Postma; her siblings, Gene Kempfer (Phyllis), Dennis Kempfer (Marilyn), Melvin Kempfer (Anna) and Greg Kempfer (Mary); and her sisters-in-law, Rosalie Berry and Lucille Sheesley. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
